My name is Alan Garcia

I'm the Weight Loss Safely creator. As a personal trainer, my passion is to guide the world towards a healthier lifestyle. Everybody is unique, with their own strengths and limitations.

 

WLS method is to build a custom plan based on your health, schedule and more importantly, fitness goals.

 

I aim to transform your body and influence you to make more mindful decisions when it comes to your health.

Coach Alan Garcia

 

With a love for sport, Alan Garcia found his feet very early and stood out on the running track. This happy little boy was fast, and running made him smile 2 important facts transformed his life in the early 2000s.

​

The first was to start his Graduation from the University of Physical Education in 2001 and in the same year Alan decided to focus 100% on the sport that became the great Love of his life, #Surf. Since then, he has been surfing the world for many years and developing as an athlete and teacher.

​

Alan Garcia became a Personal Trainer, uniting his passion for sport with the virtue of being a teacher and helping hundreds of people to achieve their goals in terms of having a healthy life.

​

It’s with great happiness and motivation that another stage planned to start this week to bring a methodology that will surprise everyone and innovate the way to include physical activity in your life.

Personal Training

WLS Personal Trainer is an individual training session lasting from 30' to 60', specific to your case, monitored full-time by the PT. It can be done at home, condominium, park and beach.

Walking

Walking reduce your risk of chronic diseases: Regular walkers have fewer heart attacks and strokes, lower blood pressure and higher levels of HDL (healthy cholesterol) than non-exercisers. In fact, walking for just 30 minutes a day, five days a week can reduce your risk for coronary heart disease by 19%.

​

WLS  Walking is a walking session lasting 30 to 60 minutes, done at a moderate pace, in structured places and in contact with nature, combining physical and mental benefits in a single activity. Ex.: Coastal Walking Maoubra, Bondi, Cronulla, Kiama, Manly, Curl Curl, Narrabeen, Botanic Gardens.

Bootcamp

The goal of a fitness boot camp is to provide a whole-body workout that builds strength and aerobic endurance. Boot camp workouts also attract many people because they may: Offer a more challenging, varied and fun workout.

WLS Bootcamp is a 30' to 60' training session specifically for WEIGHT LOSS and monitored full time by the PT.

It can be done in authorized parks and beaches.

Running

Regular physical activity such as running can significantly improve mental health, self-confidence, healthy ageing, and quality of life.
Running can:

  • help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise.

  • strengthen muscles.

  • improve cardiovascular fitness.

  • burn plenty of kilojoules.

  • help maintain a healthy weight

WLS Running is a running training session focused on burning calories and losing weight. With a duration of 15' to 60' and monitored full time by the PT. It can be done in pre-established parks and beaches in the WLS program.

Swimming Classes

You may have heard that experts recommend adults get 150 minutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity each week.

​

Swimming is an excellent way to work your entire body and cardiovascular system.

​

An hour of swimming burns almost as many calories as running, without all the impact on your bones and joints.

​

WLS Swimming is a swimming session focused on caloric expenditure only.

 

You need to know how to SWIM. It can be done at home, condominium and public pools selected in the WLS program.

Bicycle Rides

Cycling strengthens your heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces blood fat levels.

​

Research also shows that people who cycle to work have two to three times less exposure to pollution than car commuters, so their lung function is improved.

​

WLS Bike Ride is a pedaling session focused on relaxation and combating stress, light to moderate intensity and without impact so that everyone can participate.

 

Remember that cycling is the best exercise to regulate blood pressure.

Combat Training

Boxing training can help improve your heart health, body composition, and strength, as well as lower your blood pressure and aid weight loss.

 

Most of all, boxing is a fun way to get some exercise and release stress in a safe and healthy way.

​

WLS Combat Training is an aerobic training session using Boxing and Muay Thai fundamentals, with a duration of 30' to 60' and monitored full time by the PT.

Surf

Surfing provides many health benefits including:

​

  • cardiovascular fitness – from paddling.

  • shoulder and back strength – these muscles will strengthen from the paddling.

  • leg and core strength – once you're standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up.

​

WLS Surf is a surf session for beginners focused on recreation and leisure.

​

It is at South Maroubra beach monitored full time by the PT.

Training Program

Training Program can decrease the risk of overtraining and injury, maximize strength, speed and endurance, and help to avoid training burnout.

​

It's very useful for adding variations to workouts, which helps you avoid boredom and training plateaus.

 

WLS Training Program is a specific methodology 

monitored in person by the PT once a week.

Online Training 

Going to the gym isn't the only way to get in a great workout. Working out at home can be just as effective.

​

While a gym provides a dedicated space, home workouts offer more flexibility and can be more efficient.

 

It all depends on how you use your time and equipment to maximize your effort.

​

WLS Online Training works by applying the training prescription above but using online service tools.

 

It's done in a specific way and monitored online by the PT on a weekly basis.

Diet Plan

A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. It protects you against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for healthy diet.
